Shaking the babies causes to damage of their brain

Spanish researchers said: shaking babies to calm their crying can cause to a variety brain injuries without observed outward signs in them. According to IRNA, quoted by Science Daily, "Ruiz Rodriguez" a presenter of this study in Granada University said: if parents or baby sisters can't find the continues crying the baby, it might that quickly shake the baby, that causes to injuring in the brain, and thus the baby stop crying. Although, the amount of brain damage are depends on the frequency, intensity and duration of shaking the babies. But there are other small injuries that occur because of this problem, such as irritability, apathy and lethargy, convulsions, vomiting or loss of appetite and other more serious injuries such as eye injury or bone fracture. Most of the victims of these problems are under two years of age and they are vulnerable include premature babies, low birth weight babies, babies with excessive colic, disabled babies, twins and adopted children. Fathers are involved in these injuries more than mothers.
